ALERT: This is a blatant avoidance technique called misdirection. I did do something today, but I've got these great photos, you see, and I need to use them. Photos are like toddlers and puppies, they can be ignored, but if you do, you'll be sorry.
If you lived on the Texas Gulf Coast and you saw this(notice the palm trees) ....
And you had used one of your vacation days to go shopping, you might want to go to the mall. But then, you'd look out the window, and you'd see this ...
Yep, that's the real McCoy. Big, fat flakes just like you used to see in Missouri when you were a child.
What would you do? You might ...
Yes, you might make the world's tiniest snow man!
On Dec. 4, we had the earliest snow on record. Most years we don't get any snow, so this was a reason to pause, play, watch and enjoy.
I did shop.

The snow melted by the next morning, but it sure was beautiful!
If you live in Norway, Michigan, Alaska or New Hampshire, you can stop laughing. This is the Texas Gulf Coast, folks. We go years without snow around here.
Oops! I promised inks, didn't I? Here's a great blog by Britt Arnhild, a woman who lives in Norway. You'll enjoy her beautiful photos (I promise, there will be snow), her amazing Christian faith, and her unflagging joy in each day. Enjoy.
